06/11 Le Chat Noir

"wheres the wine list"?

"wheres the curry then"?

Nice to see table friends again. Our hosts
Yann and Susie gave us an introduction into
wine tasting and matching wines with foods.
A warm friendly atmosphere and tasty homemade
food made a great evening.

16/10 Tour of Stephen Joseph Theatre

Many thanks to Paul Baines the theatre manager, who gave us an informative behind the scenes tour. A good turnout again enjoyed a 3 course meal in the theatres restaurant.

18/09 Business meeting- Bryherstones, Cloughton

First item of business please, is this a two or three course meal?

04/09 Quad biking

I knew i'd manage to get us lost. With guests from Whitby it was a good turn out for quad biking in the forest and north yorks moors. You dont half get covered in dust! Who are those ugly beggars!

20/07 Pub crawl, Scarborough

By now you, any casual observer will probably
think this is all we get up to. You'd be wrong.....
we also go for curries.

03/07 Betton Farm

We were supposed to have a look at the birds of prey at Betton Farm, Ayton, but the summer weather scuppered us. Feeling resourceful we managed to have a few ales and a nice dinner in the Dennison Arms. The evening saw us welcoming Jim and Andy as new members of the group, are they quite mad?

19/06 Cycling

Bikes, beer and fog. A gentle ride on a balmy summers evening

Rosette in Newby 1x shandy

Oakwheel in Burniston 1 x lager

Blacksmiths in Cloughton G&T x2
The views were superb!

Finshed of in the Hayburn Wyke for a very welcome hot buffet. Washed down with a few more refreshing beverages. Still havn't got my bike back though!

05/06 Clay pigeon at Cottondale, Staxton

PULL! Shotguns and high spirits. Miss of the day is awarded to mark ......? Set in a tranquil valley in the wolds you will find us once a year. Worth every penny. I managed to bruise my shoulder and cheek, what a pratt.

Finshed off in the curry house. Again!

15/05 Business meeting at the Crown Hotel

A chance to chew the fat and discuss the burning issues of the day. Polished off by a two course meal in the new 'Taste' restaurant.

01/05 Pitch and putt

A lively evening spent at the Snainton 9 hole course, nobody ended up wading in the ditch this year though (shame).

Very tasty supper of steak and ale pie, followed by homemade sponge and custard.

Im finding out how challanging it is organising this lot!
